Please book only your first lesson online. For multi-session training, please choose just the first appointment when booking online. Once your first lesson is confirmed, the remaining lesson dates and times will be arranged directly with the instructor based on both your availability.

A Message From Gary Sandhu

Hi, I’m Gary Sandhu, your accredited driving instructor. My goal is to make every lesson calm, clear, practical, and safety-focused in a dual-control automatic car. Whether you are a complete beginner, a nervous driver, preparing for your VicRoads drive test, or converting an overseas licence, I will guide you step by step and tailor each lesson to what you need most. We will focus on building your driving skills, improving your confidence, and helping you feel comfortable on the road, including practice on local Carlton and Bundoora test routes where needed.

When booking online, I ask all students to book only the first lesson to begin with. This first booking is very important because it allows us to lock in your starting date and time, confirm your payment, and make sure your training begins smoothly. It also gives me the chance to meet you properly, understand your current experience level, see how confident you are behind the wheel, and work out the best lesson plan for you moving forward.

For students booking a single lesson, the process is simple. You just choose one date and time, complete the booking, and attend your lesson as scheduled.

For students booking lesson packages, test prep bundles, or any course with multiple sessions, you still only need to book the first appointment online. After that first lesson, I will personally help you organise the remaining lesson dates and times. This is much easier and more practical than trying to choose every session in advance through the booking form.

The reason for this is simple: driving lessons often need flexibility. Your availability may change, my availability may change, and sometimes the best time for your next lesson depends on how you progress in the first one. After we meet, we can discuss what suits both of us and schedule the remaining lessons properly. We can do this straight after the lesson, while sitting in the car or standing outside the car, and agree on the next dates and times together.

This way, your bookings are planned more accurately, with less confusion and less chance of choosing unsuitable times too early. It also helps me give you a training schedule that matches your learning needs, rather than forcing you into dates before I have even seen where you are starting from.

So, to keep things easy:

1. Please book only your first lesson online.

2. Once that first lesson is completed, I will personally arrange the rest of your lesson dates with you.
